How to use the L2A6, the main battle tank in WARDOGS, without losing it in the first minute.
The L2A6 is the main battle tank in WARDOGS and the anchor of any serious armoured push. Used well it breaks a defended Zone open. Used badly it is an expensive fireball.
What it is for
The L2A6 brings heavy firepower and armour. It clears fortifications, forces infantry off a point, and soaks damage that would shred a squad on foot. It levels the Driver track while you crew it.
Do not push alone
The single biggest mistake is driving a tank into the Zone with no support. A lone tank gets swarmed by launchers, flanked, or picked apart from the air. Keep infantry around you to spot and screen threats, and ideally friendly anti-air overhead.
Play the angles
- Fight at range, where your gun and armour matter and their launchers do not reach.
- Use hard cover and hull-down positions. Show as little of yourself as possible.
- Do not chase kills into the enemy backfield. Support the push, then pull back to repair or re-crew.
Know your counters
Respect enemy launchers, other tanks, and helicopters. If the enemy is flying, you want a Flakpanzer Gepard clearing the sky before you commit.
Plan your hull-down spots on TacMap and roll in with a squad on comms. Crew armour with people who play it right.
