WARDOGS 50v50 - also written 50/50 - is the large-scale mode of the tactical shooter WARDOGS, where two teams of up to 50 players each (100 players in a single match) fight for control of the map. It is the most intense, most social way to play WARDOGS, and it only works when the servers are full, balanced and well run.

The balancer that runs our servers is open source. Take it.
Fifty against fifty only works if the teams stay even, and keeping them even is the hard part. Most balancers fix the numbers by dragging players out of a firefight to even up a count. Ours does not. It evens the sides by placing new arrivals, keeps clan tags together, keeps the third faction shut, and puts side hoppers back if they jump onto the heavier team. Nobody who is simply playing ever gets moved.
We have released it under the MIT licence with no conditions attached. Host it yourself, point it at your own RCON, rename it if you like. There is no database and there are no dependencies, and it ships with its own test suite and a stress harness so you can check every claim on this page for yourself instead of taking our word for it.
