WARDOGS Bakurani Map Guide

🗺️ The Zone & MapsUpdated 10 Sep 2026

Bakurani is a river valley with a town on the floor and forested ridges either side. Here is how to play it.

Bakurani is a river valley map. A single town sits on the valley floor, cultivated parcels spread around it, and steep forested ridges rise on either side. The height and the tree cover make it one of the more tactical maps in WARDOGS.

Reading the ground

  • The valley floor and its town are the natural focal point: cover, buildings, and choke points.
  • The forested ridges give commanding fire positions and covered movement, but they slow vehicles.
  • The farmland parcels are more open, better for armour and worse for anyone caught crossing them on foot.

The Control Zone

Bakurani rolls one of several Zone placements, including Default, Farmland and Lumberyard. Only the objectives inside that circle count, so the first job every match is to spot where it landed and get there.

How to win it

  1. Use the ridges for overwatch, but do not forget the Zone is won by bodies inside the circle, not kills from a hilltop.
  2. Move armour along the valley floor and parcels, not up the wooded slopes.
  3. Hold buildings in the town with infantry, screen the approaches with vehicles.

Plan your routes and overwatch on TacMap. Run Bakurani with a coordinated squad.
