WARDOGS Leveling Guide: The Six XP Tracks and Wardog Level

📈 Leveling & XPUpdated 10 Sep 2026

WARDOGS levels you by what you actually do. Here are the six XP tracks, what feeds each one, and how to unlock the big vehicles fast.

WARDOGS does not have one level bar, it has several. Progress comes from the work you do, and the gear you use pushes the matching track. Play to the track you want and it climbs quickly.

The six XP tracks

  • Assault grows from assault rifles. The all-round infantry track.
  • Medic grows from SMGs and medical tools. Reviving and keeping people alive pays here.
  • Recon grows from marksman and sniper weapons, and the scopes that go with them.
  • Support grows from LMGs, shotguns, launchers, and build tools like Hammers and FOBs.
  • Driver grows from ground vehicles. Time in the seat is time on the track.
  • Pilot grows from helicopters.

On top of those sits your overall Wardog Level, sometimes shown as your Career level, which climbs from everything you do.

Unlocking the big stuff

The heavy vehicles gate behind levels, not just cash. Two worth knowing:

  • The Heavy Tank unlocks around Driver 35, so if armour is your goal, log seat time in ground vehicles.
  • Artillery unlocks around Career 90, meaning your overall Wardog Level, not a single track. It is a long-haul unlock.

Level fast without wasting matches

  1. Pick a track and use the gear that feeds it. Do not spread thin if you want a specific unlock.
  2. Play the objective anyway. Zone play earns cash and XP together.
  3. If you want vehicles, drive and fly, the tracks only move when you are in the seat.

The exact XP needed per level gets rebalanced between updates, so check the patch notes if the numbers feel different from last week.
