In WARDOGS, cash is everything. It buys your weapons, your gear, and your vehicles, every single life, and it carries with you from match to match. Manage it well and you deploy in whatever you need. Waste it and you are stuck with a pistol.
Where your money comes from
You start with $10,000. You earn more by doing the work that wins matches: fighting in and around the Zone, supporting your team, and playing the objective rather than farming kills in a corner.
The 90% refund rule
This is the most important thing to understand. If you are killed outright, the gear you bought that life refunds at roughly 90%. So a loadout is not a sunk cost the moment you spawn, it is closer to a deposit. That means you can afford to deploy properly kitted for a push, as long as you are actually pushing and not throwing the kit away.
What is worth buying
- Early on: a solid rifle, armour, and cheap transport to the Zone. Do not overspend before you know the map.
- Mid game: ground vehicles to move your squad, and build tools if you are playing Support.
- Late game / rich: gunship helicopters, tanks, and the big-ticket items. These win fights but they are expensive to replace, so only fly what you can afford to lose.
Money mistakes that keep you broke
- Buying expensive vehicles and losing them far from the Zone.
- Deploying heavy, then dying to a sniper before you fire a shot. If you die instantly you still get most of it back, but repeated bad deploys drain you.
- Ignoring the objective. The economy rewards playing the Zone, so grinding kills out in the open pays worse than it looks.
