AE COMMS Overlay
Your radio nets, floating over the game. A transparent always-on-top window with global push-to-talk, monitor every net, transmit on the one you pick, without alt-tabbing out.

The AE COMMS Overlay is for AE Gaming members and onboarded partner orgs. Sign in with Discord to download, you'll get the build for the nets you're assigned.

Every net at once
Hear all your assigned nets simultaneously, left / centre / right by assignment, and transmit on the one you select. Coalition nets even let you talk across other orgs' Discord servers.
Global push-to-talk
Bind a key (or combo, numpad included) per channel. Hold to transmit while the game keeps focus, the keys work in-game.
Click-through overlay
Lock it and the mouse passes straight to the game, aim and shoot without touching the panel. Compact mode shows just your channel.
Anti-cheat safe
It never touches the game, just a window on top, like Discord or OBS. No injection, no memory reads.
- Download the installer above (or the ZIP).It should be about 76 MB. If the download is much smaller, or your browser flags the
.exeas unsafe, use the ZIP link and unzip it first. - If your browser blocks the download, Chrome/Edge sometimes say “this file can't be downloaded securely” or “may be dangerous”.Click the ⋮ (or …) next to the download and choose Keep → Keep anyway. Or just use the ZIP, which browsers don't block.
- Getting past “Windows protected your PC”, on first run SmartScreen shows a blue box because the app isn't code-signed yet.Click More info (the small link in the box) → then the Run anyway button that appears. You only do this once. It's an AE build; the source is our own.
- Install & launch, then log in with Discord and allow the microphone when asked.The login opens as a normal window you can type in, then collapses to the compact overlay once you're on your nets.
- Set your push-to-talk key, tray icon → “Set push-to-talk key or mouse button…”, or the ⚙ keys panel for a key per channel.Tip: if a key sometimes types into the game instead of transmitting, bind a spare mouse button instead, it can't be stolen by the window that has focus.
- Run your game in Borderless / Windowed (not exclusive Fullscreen) so the overlay sits on top.On a second monitor the global PTT works regardless of the game's mode.
- Updates are automatic, you only download once.The app checks on launch and installs new versions itself. When one is ready the tray shows “Restart to install”, or use Check for updates now in the tray menu any time.
Running a
whole org?
Bring your squad onto their own radio nets in a few minutes. Invite the bot, set up your channels, done. Your roster and channels stay yours, you never touch anyone else's and no one touches yours.
